Hi everyone! My name is Máirín (Mo) Duffy and I have been working on UX design for the ChRIS project for the past couple of years or so. I am a UX designer embedded in the Linux Engineering dept and work primarily in the upstream Fedora community. I am based in Boston and have worked for Red Hat for the past 15+ years. I am very excited to work with you all on Team-19! :) Here is what I've been working on the past week: Worked on ======== - Worked with the OSPO team to get this list set up :) - Working full speed on a mockup => implementation for a new contributor landing page for chrisproject.org <https://slack-redir.net/link?url=http%3A%2F%2Fchrisproject.org&v=3>. Planning to have this done by the end of next week, so the brand team is then clear to launch their ChRIS campaign. Here is the issue where you can see the progress on this: https://github.com/FNNDSC/website/issues/6 - Set up a meeting for Aug 24 for Jeffer to walk us through the COVID-Net frontend work he did from a development POV for Dan and Anuj to be able to pick it up moving forward since his internship is ending on the 28th. Details are pinned to the #covidnet-frontend channel in Slack and I am happy to add anyone interested to the invite. Backlog ====== - I need to finish the screen design for plugin metas in the ChRIS store: https://github.com/FNNDSC/ChRIS_store_ui/issues/81 Blockers ======= - None at this time! Cheers, ~m

Weekly Status thread

Hi everyone! Here's my own weekly status below, please feel free to reply with your own: Worked on ======== - Still working full speed on a mockup => implementation for a new contributor landing page for chrisproject.org <https://slack-redir.net/link?url=http%3A%2F%2Fchrisproject.org&v=3>. More details to follow in another mail. Blockers / Need help =============== - Anyone able to debug SSL web issues? The Red Hat web team is going to replace the link to the Boston University ChRIS page (bu.edu/rhcollab/projects/radiology) to our new website (chrisproject.org) on the Creating ChRIS page (redhat.com/chris) - but they are concerned about SSL not functioning on chrisproject.org. The page is hooked up to https://github.com/fnndsc/website and served on github.io (automagically built using github's web hosting service.) If anybody has experience with this and can advise I'd greatly appreciate it :) Cheers, ~m

Welcome to Team-19!

Hi everyone, We've created this mailing list for the Red Hat Team-19 volunteers working on the COVID-Net on ChRIS project. Welcome! ** Do note this is a *public* list, it is not Red Hat internal. ** Here is how we were thinking we could use the list: - I can send a regular round up of open tasks we need volunteers for, so if you need another task to work on you can "shop" that post for it - I was also hoping maybe we could send regular statuses to this list - Anyone at any time can post any questions / concerns / feedback about the project here I'll start with my status in another thread to kick things off, and you can feel free to follow suit. Intro and status

Hi folks, My name is Aravindh and I have been working at Red Hat since March 2018. I am based out of the Boston office and work on OpenShift. I lead the on-cluster OperatorHub effort in the past and am presently working on enabling Windows workloads on OpenShift. I also have experience working on hypervisors in the past. Status ===== Was able to follow the TL;DR instructions to bring up CUBE running on a VM on Azure. Looking to figure out where I can jump in and contribute in the coming weeks. Cheers, Aravindh
